2012-13: 11-19 (6-10)
In-conference offense: 0.97 points per possession (5th)
In-conference defense: 1.01 points allowed per possession (7th)
Ted Woodward lost three of his most dynamic underclassmen during the offseason. Justin Edwards, the conference's leading scorer, flirted with leaving after his first season and eventually departed for Kansas State after his sophomore year. Woodward and the Black Bears have made a living going overseas to get players, which offers the built-in risk of further attrition. Case in point, German Alasdair Fraser, the team's second leading scorer and top defender, left the team and signed a pro contract overseas. Forward Jon Mesghna also left following the season.
