UNC-Michigan highlights ACC/Big Ten clashes

Edwards returns to Purdue, skips NBA draft

Carsen Edwards, who averaged a team-high 18.5 points per game last season, will skip the NBA draft and return to Purdue for his junior season.

Brees nabs Wooden jersey for Purdue to display

Drew Brees said he paid $264,000 in mid-May to win a late-hour bidding war for a 1930s-era Purdue jersey worn by coaching legend John Wooden. The Saints QB said the jersey will go on display at Mackey Arena.

Purdue's Dakota Mathias will play in the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, according to his agent, Keith Kreiter of Edge Sports International. Mathias shot 46.6 percent from beyond the arc this season and finished his career as the all-time leader in made 3-pointers.

NCAA OKs Haas brace; Purdue wary he'll play

Although the NCAA announced Friday that Isaac Haas could compete with an approved elbow brace and left the final decision with Purdue, coach Matt Painter is still not convinced Haas is fit to play.
