The Florida Gulf Coast Eagles are making their first NCAA tournament appearance in just their sixth season as a Division I program. What do the Eagles need to do to become the next Cinderella and take their place in March Madness lore?
ESPN Insider has your answers, as Joe Lunardi has enlisted a team of Bracketologists to compile advanced metrics, key scouting intel and best- and worst-case tournament scenarios for all 68 teams, in order to help you make smart picks in your bracket. Plus, as Lunardi fills out his bracket, he'll give you his prediction on how each team will fare.
We already know Florida Gulf Coast is capable of beating a No. 2 seed. The Eagles did exactly that in November against Miami (FL). But that was a home game, and there was also a "surprise" factor. Georgetown won't be surprised by the Eagles, although this could be a tight, low-scoring game throughout.
Best wins: Miami, Loyola (Md.)
Worst losses: Lipscomb (twice), Stetson
