The Saint Mary's Gaels enter the 2013 NCAA tournament with the highly touted Matthew Dellavedova having led the team to 27 wins. But will the recent knee injury to Jorden Page be too much for the Gaels to overcome, and can Stephen Holt regain his form to be the much needed second scoring option for Saint Mary's?
ESPN Insider has your answers, as Joe Lunardi has enlisted a team of Bracketologists to compile advanced metrics, key scouting intel and best- and worst-case tournament scenarios for all 68 teams, in order to help you make smart picks in your bracket. Plus, as Lunardi fills out his bracket, he'll give you his prediction on how each team will fare.
Apparently the Gaels were a Matthew Dellavedova halfcourt shot away from missing the tournament, so let's be glad he made that game-winner at BYU. So while this may be the weakest Saint Mary's team in recent seasons, it was still strong enough to smoke Creighton at home and lose only three times to teams not ranked No. 1 in the country. I like the Gaels to beat both Middle Tennessee and Memphis.
Best wins: Harvard, Creighton, at BYU
Worst losses: Pacific, Georgia Tech, at Northern Iowa
