It seems like it's been a long time since any basketball was played in this tournament, but that dry spell is about to end Saturday. One down side to reading about the Final Four this late in the week, however, is that it's really tough to find anything new. For instance ...
What if I told you that Wisconsin's Frank Kaminsky and Connecticut's Shabazz Napier are exceptionally important players to their respective teams? You might respond with: "Hey, genius, Myron Medcalf already told us that! And Jeff Goodman ranked every single player in the Final Four. Tell us something we don't know."
Fair enough -- I accept your challenge. Myron and Jeff were exactly right, and today I want to add my two cents not just on Kaminsky and Napier, but also on Kentucky's Julius Randle and Florida's Scottie Wilbekin. And as an extra added bonus, I'll offer a conclusion that I realize may sound a little unusual.
I believe Kaminsky is more important to his team than any other player at the Final Four.
