Igawa better suited for relief

Kei Igawa's best bet for big-league success was to end up in the National League or in a big ballpark, but neither one is the case in the Bronx. Igawa's repertoire is that of a fifth starter in the AL East, although I think he could be a dominant middle reliever due to his two average-or-better offspeed pitches. In what is still arguably the best offensive division in baseball, however, he's likely to serve up too many home runs to be more than a five or perhaps a so-so four, and it would be an upset if he made more than 50 or 60 starts for the Yankees over the life of this deal.
