The relief pitcher market inefficiency

When the Orioles' front office sat down for its off-season talent audit, team executives saw an organization in desperate need of new blood. The O's won just 66 games last year, and they haven't had a winning season since 1997. Even worse, the Baltimore brass realized that their greatest asset was a surplus of young, righthanded relief pitchers. Not exactly something that will ignite season ticket sales.
