Don't bank on stats being completely accurate

If you read Wednesday's column, you might recall that I referenced a bit of trivia mentioned during the Yankees' Tuesday night TV broadcast. Bobby Abreu, it seems, is going to become only the third player in major league history to draw at least 100 walks in eight straight seasons. But wait! According to my sources, one of the other two, Max "Camera Eye" Bishop, drew only 97 walks in one of his supposed 100-walk seasons. It says so right here on the Internet! And also here!
