Why credit Cora with a homer?

Catching up on some e-mail that has come across the e-transom recently:

Travis Anderson: Just a vent ... This is Torii Hunter, from the Sunday AP story regarding Yanks and Twins: "The Yankees have a $200 million payroll, and we play for minimum wage."

Rob Neyer: Right. As MSNBC.com points out, Hunter is paid $66,358 per game this season, which is roughly $25,000 per hour. The federal minimum wage is $5.15 per hour, "and if you had a job paying that and worked 40 hours every week without ever missing a day's work, at the end of the year, you'd have earned $10,712. And if you did that for six straight years -- never missing a day's work -- you'd have earned $64,272, which is still less than Hunter earns for one game."
