Derek Jeter has been a fixture as the New York Yankees' shortstop for so long that it's hard to remember who played there before him (Tony Fernandez, in case you were wondering). Wrapping up a 10-year, $189 million contract at the end of the season, it's time for Jeter and the Yankees to figure out their future together. For years, fans and scouts have assumed that Jeter will finish his career at a different position, but is it in the Yankees' -- or another team's -- best interest to move him to another spot on the diamond? Doesn't look like it.
