Sources: Rain could alter NLCS, ALCS schedules

With the possibility Wednesday's ALCS Game 4 between the Astros and Yankees is a rainout, MLB is considering moving a potential NLCS Game 5 between the Nationals and Cardinals to that night, sources said.

The Astros and Yankees split the weekend and the Cardinals already find themselves in must-win mode. Sarah Langs fills in for Buster, who joins Sarah from the road to discuss Carlos Correa's big moment, Aaron Boone's managing of New York's bullpen and each team's path to winning the ALCS (17:16). Carlos Correa's defense has been there all October for the Astros but his bat finally showed up just in time to even the ALCS. Correa took Yankees lefty JA Happ out to opposite field on the first pitch of the 11th inning, giving Houston a 3-2 win. When we resume in Game 3 on Tuesday, it'll be Gerrit Cole on the mound for Houston against New York's Luis Severino.

According to a statement read on the Astros home radio broadcast, the foul ball hit by Michael Brantley struck a paramedic in the dugout. He was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.

CC Sabathia, in his 19th and final season, was on the mound for the Yankees in the 10th inning for his third career relief appearance. Sabathia faced only one batter, Michael Brantley, the player he was once traded for. CC had not pitched since Sep. 24; was dealing with a shoulder issue that forced him off the ALDS roster.
