— Manuel Margot hit a tiebreaking two-run homer, Tyler Glasnow overcame cramps and poor control to pitch five innings of one-run ball and the Tampa Bay Rays held off the struggling New York Yankees 6-3 Saturday.


Rays dominate Yankees 8-2 in matchup of AL East strugglers

— Brandon Lowe hit a two-run double in the first inning off opener Nick Nelson, and the AL champion Tampa Bay Rays kept up their domination of the New York Yankees with a 8-2 win Friday night that set off frustrated fans who caused a brief interruption.

They're obviously a good team and the defending American league champions. We have expectations of being that and more this year, so they're one of the teams we have to go through.
