Saturday's UFC Fight Night from the Apex in Las Vegas will feature a fascinating matchup between Paulo Costa and Marvin Vettori (ESPN+, 4 p.m. ET; prelims 1 p.m. ET).

Both of these middleweights are coming off a failed title bid against Israel Adesanya in their most recent appearances. Costa (13-1) lost via TKO in the second round of a bout in September 2020. Vettori (17-4) suffered a unanimous decision loss in June.

Although both men fought for the title recently, this bout will still have a major impact on the pecking order of the UFC's 185-pound division -- even if the fight isn't fought at 185 pounds.

Who has the edge in this contest? ESPN asked several experts for their breakdowns and predictions.
