Amazingly enough, even though the Miami Heat won the NBA title this year, they have more clear-cut needs than many of the teams that are inferior to them.
Losing Chris Bosh for nine games during the playoffs proved to be a blessing in disguise for Miami, as they were forced to play LeBron James even more as a big. They also learned how much they truly give up when Joel Anthony is in the game. Mike Miller was phenomenal in Game 5, but he might retire this summer. And though Norris Cole had some bright moments in the postseason, it's not as if he has wrapped up that role for the next few years.
Anyone who can offer energy, toughness and some perimeter shooting could help the Heat to defend their title.
