1. Carmelo Anthony was brilliant again on Wednesday night, and the one overriding constant seems to be the newfound patience he's shown at the offensive end. Anthony has long had a bad habit of rushing face-up jumpers in the half court, almost as if he was terrified that he'd never see the ball again. But now, even when he shoots a jumper, he seems more under control. It doesn't hurt, of course, that he has so much more space to operate now that opponents have to respect Denver's shooters.
