We're keeping track of the best performers throughout the playoffs -- the guys who make the difference between winning and losing in these games. Last year, Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol came out of nowhere and proved to be the best players in the playoffs before Dirk took over and wrestled the crown away.
This postseason? In the first week Andrew Bynum, on the strength of his triple-double in Game 1, occupied the top spot, while Kobe Bryant, the perennial postseason potentate, had Bynum's back at No. 2.
But this week, with the Lakers facing a Game 7 against a scrappy Nuggets squad, Bynum and Bryant have dropped from the top two, only to be replaced by another player from L.A. and the man who would be king.
