Can Bulls pull off historic upset?

The task in front of the Chicago Bulls, even after winning Game 1 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series against the top-seeded Miami Heat, remains enormous. Consider that, if the Bulls were to win the series, it would be one of the largest upsets in NBA playoff history. Miami finished the regular season 21 games ahead of Chicago in the East standings. That's a gap as large as the one between the Denver Nuggets and the Seattle SuperSonics in 1994, when the Nuggets became the first No. 8 to knock off a No. 1, and surpassed in playoff upset history only by the 2007 Dallas Mavericks' 25-game advantage over the Golden State Warriors.
