The winner of the first weekend of the NBA postseason was, well, winners. For just the fourth time since the playoffs expanded to 16 teams, all eight higher seeds won Game 1. There were only a couple of close calls; Alok Pattani of ESPN Stats & Info tweeted that the average margin of victory was 16 points per game.

Matt Wieters is unlikely to push the needle much for the Nationals, as he owns a .302 OBP over the past four seasons and the metrics suggest he's a poor pitch-framer. He's probably better than Derek Norris at the plate, but his OPS last year was actually just league average for a catcher. Big name, but not that good.
