Pacers decline team option on Joe Young

The Indiana Pacers have declined the team option on guard Joe Young, making him an unrestricted free agent, a league source tells ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Young, the son of former NBA player Michael Young and cousin to Paul George, was drafted by the Pacers in the second round of the 2015 draft after playing in college at Houston and Oregon.

Young averaged 3.9 points in 10.5 minutes per game last season, both career highs.
