In today's NBA, point guards best help their team when they are threats to score, unlike the old days when teams couldn't flood ball side with defenders. Marshall, though, has an old-school game. He's a true setup man who has gifts as a passer and a quarterback. But until he becomes a scoring threat, he won't be as effective as a setup man and, more importantly, won't help his team as much.
