Pac-10 schools makes waves on NSD

Here's a look at the top 2010 recruiting classes in the Pac-10.

1. USC Trojans

One of Lane Kiffin's greatest recruiting victories as the new head coach of Troy was keeping together the strong class he inherited. Keeping players such as the explosive Robert Woods (Gardena, Calif./Serra) and physically-imposing Kyle Prater (Hillside, Ill./Proviso West) in the fold as well as athletic No. 1 tight end prospect Xavier Grimble (Las Vegas/Bishop Gorman) were huge. Not one to settle, Kiffin put his stamp on this class on signing day. A huge addition, both literally and figuratively, was that of top overall offensive linemen Seantrel Henderson (Saint Paul, Minn./Cretin-Derham). Henderson has yet to send in his letter of intent, but he has verbally committed. Another key addition was that of No. 4 WR Markeith Ambles (McDonough, Ga./Henry County), who was originally committed to Kiffin at Tennessee. With the signing day addition of Christian Thomas (Palmdale, Calif. / Highland) the Trojans now have three of the top-10 tight ends in this class. They also added depth to the quarterback position with Under Armour All-American quarterback Jesse Scroggins (Lakewood, Calif./Lakewood).
