Cali shows depth at QB

It has long been argued that the best high school football in the country is being played in three states: Texas, California and Florida. I happen to agree with this assessment, but not necessarily because there are better athletes in these three states than there are in others, but simply because there are more of them. With the population of these three states, the amount of high schools per state and the increased enrollment at these high schools, the level of competition can't help but be raised to the highest levels of high school football anywhere in the country.

Last week, Craig Haubert detailed Texas' 2006 class, so now it's time to move out west and take a look at the great state of California. Today, an overview of California's best offensive players from top to bottom, and later in the week, we'll take a look at the top defensive players.
