Football fields of dreams

A state in the heart of the Midwest is torn between being Big XII and Big Ten country. While the state of Iowa is divided between two teams in two different major college conferences, you will find they both agree football is a big part of the state's landscape.

Many people outside of the state conjure up thoughts of farms and fields of dreams when they think about Iowa, but the state has a strong football tradition, from the University of Iowa's controversial pink visitor locker rooms, to the stand up tight ends coach Hayden Fry would use in his offense, to Iowa State's Troy Davis who rushed for over 2,000 yards in two consecutive seasons.
