Game Plan: Michigan State

Michigan State Spartans may be the toughest team in the Final Four to prepare for because of their versatility. Although they may not have an NBA player on their roster, they do have 10 rugged, unselfish players who will do whatever their coach asks of them. Michigan State's versatility makes the Spartans a very difficult team to prepare for because you cannot lock on to two or three key players and think that will be good enough to beat this team. Opponents must concentrate on all of the Spartans' starters and several of their key players off the bench. This requires even more concentration during film sessions and scouting reports prior to the game. Every player is capable of having a big game. And Michigan State will need contributions from everyone against the Connecticut Huskies.
