Corey Waller checks out Boise State

September, 27, 2010
Linebacker/defensive end Corey Waller (Long Beach, Calif./ Poly) took his first official visit this past weekend to check out Boise State.

The Broncos had a handful of players on campus for official visits headlined by Waller, one of the top playmakers in the state.

"I liked it a lot, it really opened my eyes," Waller said. "That blue turf there is real nice and they have some great people at Boise. It's a total college town and not what I expected Boise to look like. I thought it was going to be some potato town in the middle of nowhere but it's a real cool place with a lot more to do than I envisioned. They have a great football team and their defense is fast and very aggressive. I think I would fit in very well there."
