Arizona picked up a huge commitment on Monday from one of the nation's top tight end prospects. Taylor McNamara (San Diego, Calif./Westview) spurned national powers like USC, Ohio State, Florida State and Michigan and committed to the Wildcats. "I'm a Wildcat," McNamara said. "There were a lot of reasons why I liked Arizona. I'll have a chance to play early there, I'm comfortable with the school and the direction the program is going in, it's close enough to home for my parents and coaches to come and watch me and I like the players on the team and trust the coaching staff there. "I wasn't planning to commit this early, I thought I would take some visits in the summer. I liked Notre Dame and was planning to visit there but I realized I didn't want to go that far from home and be that far away from my parents. The more I thought about it, the more I realized Arizona was the perfect fit for me and there was no need to wait it out any longer."
