Donte Deayon picks Boise State

Defensive back Donte Deayon (Fontana, Calif./Summit), a surprise DB MVP at the Nike camp at Stanford, picked up an offer from the Broncos a month ago and committed this week while camping in Boise.

"Yep, I'm a Bronco," Deayon said via text. "My plan was to come up and commit at the camp if everything went well and I love it here. I told [coach Chris Petersen] I was ready to be a Bronco the first day I was up here and I'm very excited about my decision."

Deayon is a bit undersized, measuring at Stanford at 5-9 but just 145 pounds, but he's a playmaker with excellent cover skills. He picked off 10 passes and added 38 catches for 524 yards and five touchdowns on offense last year.
