Hawaiian teammates' stock soaring

Honolulu (Hawaii) Punahou is home to not just one but two of the top players in the entire West region. Defensive ends DeForest Buckner and Luke Kaumatule are both close to double-digit scholarship offers and could end up playing together in college.

Buckner is sitting on eight scholarships at the moment. He was the top player at the recent All-Poly Camp in Honolulu and put up a SPARQ rating over a 100 after measuring out at 6-foot-7, 240 pounds, ran a 5.09 40-yard dash, 4.37 shuttle, jumped 28 inches in the vertical and threw the power ball 38 feet.

"Right now I have offers from Arizona, Cal, Colorado, Oregon, UCLA, Utah, Washington and Washington State," Buckner said. "Oregon, UCLA and Cal are my top three schools right now. I would like to take all my official visits before committing anywhere but it looks good I'll be playing in the Pac-12 somewhere."
