Although three-star WR Taariq Allen (Boston, Mass./The Rivers School) restarted the recruiting process when he pulled back from a verbal commitment to Connecticut on Tuesday, but Allen said he could still end up playing college football for the Huskies.

"Definitely," Allen said. "I'm still going to entertain UConn. I just feel like I didn't do my homework. I rushed it. I kind of want to enjoy the recruiting process."

Nebraska, Wisconsin, Tulane and Massachusetts are among the other schools that made scholarship offers to Allen, who said he plans to take official visits to Connecticut, Nebraska and Wisconsin. Allen said he'd also like to visit Boston College, but BC has not made him a scholarship offer.
