Here's my question and answer with head coach Gary Patterson for the article linked above:

How much attention have you paid to all of the talk about possible conference expansion with the Pac-10 and Big Ten and how it might impact other leagues and your program?

Patterson: Not a lot. I figure by May, when a lot of the ADs and head coaches get together at the Fiesta Frolic [in Arizona] and have their meetings and meet face to face, we'll be interested to see what they have to say. All I can do as a coach is to make sure that we're in the process of raising money to redo our stadium, and to win.

We're redoing our locker room. We're redoing our weight room. We're trying to put ourselves in position to build the stadium and put in luxury boxes. All we can do is prepare ourselves as a university and a football program to be in the right place and be ready if that [an invite to a BCS conference] occurs.

How much of a sour taste do you have from losing the bowl game to the Boise State Broncos?
