Ebron flying under the radar

April, 15, 2010
Safety Trevante Ebron (Dallas/Lincoln) is one of many defensive prospects in Texas flying under the radar after switching schools. The 5-foot-9, 180-pound hard-hitter was a second team all-state 4A pick at Jefferson High School last season after racking up 90 tackles, seven forced fumbles and four interceptions.

"I'm being recruited by Oklahoma State, Kansas, I think Texas A&M will be at our spring game and a lot of Big 12 schools really," said Ebron. "I got junior day invites, but I've been running track. North Texas, LSU and OU invited me. I did go to A&M's spring practice a couple of weeks ago on a Sunday. I liked the campus at A&M. It was a good atmosphere."

Family ties have the Aggies as his favorite right now.
