Jadeveon Clowney not considering Miami

Odds are the No. 1 prospect in the ESPNU 150, defensive end Jadeveon Clowney (Rock Hill, S.C./South Pointe), stays in the South to play his college football. South Carolina followed by Alabama would appear to be the favorites, but at least for now the battle for Clowney is a five-school tussle. "The five are Alabama, South Carolina, LSU, Florida State and Ohio State," South Pointe coach Bobby Carroll said. "I think he has pretty much taken Miami off his list." The 6-foot-6, 252-pound Under Armour All-American has put up some incredible numbers on South Pointe's 10-1 team, which is headed for the second round of the playoffs.
