Kenyan Drake jumps all over Bama offer
February, 16, 2011
RB Kenyan Drake's (Powder Springs, Ga./Hillgrove) commitment to Alabama is the latest example of Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban cherry picking the state of Georgia. Over the last three years the Crimson Tide have signed 15 recruits from the Peach State. Drake is already Alabama's eighth commitment in the 2012 class and third from the state of Georgia. "I really felt like it would be a good fit for me, not just with athletics but also with the university," Drake said. "I felt so comfortable there and I know it would be a good place to live next four or five years. It also poses greatest chance for me to be competitive in the SEC and on the national stage. I love the tradition and the athletes and coaches are top tier. So why wait?"
