Alex Kozan cuts list down to seven

Four-star offensive lineman Alex Kozan (Highland Ranch, Colo./Valor Christian) has been a solid left tackle the past two seasons. The last thing he wants, however, is to be typecast.

Kozan considers himself not a good tackle but a good lineman -- whether he lines up at tackle, guard or even center. He's studied all three positions in depth, and his versatility makes him an ideal college prospect.

"That's something I try to work on," said Kozan, a 6-foot-4, 295-pounder for Valor Christian, the defending Colorado Class 4A state champion. "I give all the credit to my coaches, because they push me in practice. It's great to be versatile. I feel like I can play any position on the field."
