Junior defensive tackle Davion Pierson (Oklahoma City/Millwood) picked up his second offer on Wednesday. Kansas State has officially extended an offer joining the Tulsa Golden Hurricane in entering the race for the 6-foot-2, 302-pound athletic tackle. In a recent interview with Millwood assistant coach Kevin Cox, Pierson was a top of conversation.

"The sky is the limit for Davion," Cox said. "During the season, he was at 320-pounds, but is down to 302 right now. He has a chance to be a top 10 to 12 defensive tackle in the country in my opinion. If he really gets serious about it, he could be a top 5 to 7 defensive tackle in the country. His natural skill and his smarts are special."

Pierson put together a monster junior season, recording a jaw-dropping 129 tackles, 34 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, seven forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries and one interception in 14 games.

Ohio State, Nebraska and Missouri among others showing interest in the former offensive tackle.
