• Quarterback Tyler Boyd (Daingerfield, Texas/Daingerfield) has an offer from Tulsa with Arkansas closing in. The 5-foot-10, 182-pound two time 2A state champion signal caller is also receiving interest from TCU and Texas A&M, among others. He is being recruited as a slot receiver and defensive back by all programs. He enters his senior season with a record of 30-2 as the quarterback for Daingerfield. Both losses came against 3A powerhouse Gilmer.

• Receiver Keyarris Garrett (Daingerfield, Texas/Daingerfield) has offers from Tulsa, Houston and Purdue. The 6-4, 185-pound run and catch receiver is being recruited by programs from the SEC, Big 12, Mountain West and C-USA.

• Cornerback David Mims (Daingerfield, Texas/Daingerfield) will be one of the rising juniors this spring. The-5-10, 174-pounder with 4.5 speed hasn't been tested much at corner on the 2A level playing against just six spread/throwing teams in the last two years. He will play slot receiver and corner in the spring when college coaches are out evaluating and will be in a better position to showcase his speed and playmaking ability. His father played at Baylor.
