Oklahoma at Missouri
A pair of 6-0 teams square off when Oklahoma travels to Missouri in Week 8.
Oklahoma offense vs. Missouri defense
• How well Missouri's defensive backs tackle Oklahoma's wide receivers after the catch will be a key area for both teams. The Sooners throw a lot of underneath passes -- from screens, skinny posts, quick outs, drag routes -- and the accuracy of QB Landry Jones leads to a lot of run-after-catch opportunities for WRs Ryan Broyles and Kenny Stills and RB DeMarco Murray, all of whom are shifty playmakers. The Tigers' secondary is one of the better open-field tackling groups in the country, though. CB Carl Gettis and S Kenji Jackson are a bit undersized but can lay the lumber, and hybrid SS/OLB Andrew Gachkar always seems to be around the ball as well. If the Tigers can limit OU's yards after catch it will go a long way toward slowing the Sooners and likely lead to frustration for Oklahoma's pass-heavy offense.
