Oklahoma State at Texas

An inexperienced Texas defense will have its hands full against Oklahoma State's explosive offense in Week 7.

Oklahoma State offense vs. Texas defense
• Oklahoma's high-paced, no-huddle aerial attack exposed an inexperienced Texas secondary last week. True freshman DC Quandre Diggs and sophomore DC Adrian Phillips struggled in particular, and even senior S Blake Gideon was caught out of position by OU's route combinations. The Cowboys run a similarly up-tempo offense and rank second in the FBS in passing yards per game at 431.2. Cowboys QB Brandon Weeden has a strong arm and can drive the ball downfield, and Oklahoma State has a talented perimeter led by WR Justin Blackmon. The Longhorns' defensive backs have to clean up the mistakes and erase last week's performance so they can play with confidence.
