Juice Williams comes up big in Illini's upset of Buckeyes

The opportunity is there every week. Some players seize it. Others let it slide away. Here's a look at the players who shined or slipped in Week 11:

Stock Up

1. Illinois QB Juice Williams
Williams picked a fitting stage for his most efficient career performance. The sophomore quarterback threw for 140 yards and four touchdowns, while rushing for another 70 yards in Illinois' shocking upset of previously top-ranked Ohio State. Williams avoided throwing an interception versus the Buckeyes' typically opportunistic defense. It was just the fifth time in 11 games that Williams failed to throw a pick.
Needless to say; Saturday's victory in The 'Shoe was the team's biggest under coach Ron Zook. The Illini improve their record to 8-3 overall and 6-2 in conference. A win over Northwestern coupled by a Michigan victory over Ohio State on Saturday would earn Illinois a second-place finish in the Big Ten.

2. Georgia RB Knowshon Moreno
Get used to seeing Moreno on this list. The more I see Moreno run the more he reminds me of former Auburn star Cadillac Williams. Like Williams, Moreno is a slippery runner that doesn't take many shots to his body -- unless, of course, he initiates the contact. Moreno came up big once again on Saturday when he churned out 101 yards on 22 carries. His two rushing touchdowns in the third quarter gave Georgia a comfortable leads over Auburn. Moreno has rushed for 642 yards and eight scores since taking over as Georgia's premier back four games ago.
