Alabama's Jones and Georgia's Green are playing big roles

True freshmen seemingly make a greater impact with each college football season. Still, it's unusual for two top-10 teams to collide with each relying on a rookie as its go-to receiver. Come Saturday night, though, rookie wideouts Julio Jones of Alabama and AJ Green of Georgia will shoulder that unique responsibility.

At 6-foot-4 and 210 pounds, Jones is tall and sturdy. He doesn't make sudden stops and starts the way green does, but he builds speed as he goes and can get over the top of cornerbacks in man coverage. He also appears to be a bit more polished as a route-runner and is tougher to bring down after the catch.
