Bears looking to challenge the Trojans

Here's a quick midseason look at the Pac-10 teams:

Arizona Wildcats
You can't win if you can't score. And there you have Arizona. The Wildcats rank 115th in the nation with a scant 11.2 points per game. The prime culprit is a terrible ground attack. They average 54.8 yards per game, and that number is deceptive because they've produced negative yards while losing three consecutive Pac-10 games. The offensive line, which features three redshirt freshmen, is being overwhelmed at the point of attack.

Coach Mike Stoops responded this week by promoting assistant Dana Dimel to co-offensive coordinator. He'll oversee the woeful running game, while Mike Canales, whose job security is tenuous at best, handles the passing game. Dimel was previously a head coach at Wyoming and Houston.
