Miles tries to put Michigan rumors to rest

Les Miles won 22 of his first 26 games as LSU's head coach the past two seasons.

His 2005 team destroyed Miami by 37 points in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. Last year's Tigers erased Notre Dame by 27 points in the Sugar Bowl, and that's when the Irish had Brady Quinn at quarterback. Still, there were more Les doubters than you'd expect.

After all, he wasn't like his Purple and Gold predecessor Nick Saban, who won one national championship and two SEC championships in five years.
