This article is part of our Summer Stock series, a three-week look at the programs generating the most buzz coming out of spring practice.

Texas Longhorns

Want to know what the new-look Texas Longhorns will play like next season? Take a little bit out of the Boise State Broncos' offensive playbook. Add some of the Mississippi State Bulldogs' defensive playbook. Add a top-level recruiting class featuring several true freshmen who could come in and compete for playing time right away.

The most important change, of course, will have to come in the win-loss column as UT looks to rebound from 2010's 5-7 campaign.

The good news for Texas fans, however, is that the numbers show that last year's debacle didn't damage the program to the point that it's out of the running to compete for Big 12 and national championships.
