The most fitting aphorism for Mark Richt's four years in Athens is "Hail and Bail.''

On the field, the Georgia Bulldogs have cleaned house, claiming 42 victories over Richt's tenure, more than any SEC team and tied with USC for sixth nationally over the same span.

After winning 13 games and dousing Florida State in the Sugar Bowl in 2002, Richt was saluted by Georgia State Senate Resolution No. 80, which dubbed him "a shining example of the important impact that the efforts of individual coaches make on the quality of athletic training received by the young people of this state, and it is abundantly fitting and proper that his superlative accomplishments be recognized appropriately."

Clearly, there's the hail. Now, which version of the bail do we begin with?
