Undefeated UConn has hands full with Ga. Tech

After outscoring two vastly inferior opponents by a combined spread of 97-0, UConn (2-0) moves way up in class Saturday with a visit to No. 16 Georgia Tech (2-0).

"It's a storied program," said UConn coach Randy Edsall, who served as Georgia Tech's defensive coordinator in 1998. "There's a lot of history, a lot of tradition. … We're not where Georgia Tech is athletically. I don't think anyone would think we are. I'm well aware of the athletes they have on their team."

UConn, entering its second year in the Big East and its fourth in Division I-A, might not be on par with a Georgia Tech athletically, but it's moving in that direction faster than anyone had a right to expect, and this game should be competitive.
