Burress a huge addition for Giants

One of the most astute offseason moves in the NFL was the Giants' acquisition of WR Plaxico Burress.

If you watched young Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger a year ago on film, it was easy to see that Burress was his big-play guy and safety valve. When the Steelers needed a big play, especially on third down, they simply looked for Burress. As impressed as we were with Big Ben's prowess as a rookie, a lot of his completions to Burress while under duress could have just as easily been interceptions if Burress wasn't a 6-foot-5 target who can elevate.

Well, fast forward to 2005, and Plaxico is again working his magic with another young quarterback in Eli Manning. Manning has quickly fallen in love with the sight of the lanky Burress on the perimeter.
