MOBILE, Ala. Here's the buzz from Thursday's Senior Bowl practices:
Thursday's Senior Bowl practices were light ones. With the game just two days away, both the North and South teams geared down the intensity and took off all the pads, except for helmets. The practices served as good teaching days for the players but didn't offer much in terms of the evaluation process, which is why a good majority of NFL scouts, coaches and personnel officials departed Mobile for their respective home cities.
There are always some rumors floating around during Senior Bowl week, and this year was no different. There wasn't much talk on the Randy Moss front. However, the heaviest rumor floating around involved the possibility of Drew Bledsoe reuniting with Bill Parcells in Dallas should he be released by the Bills. The impending hiring of Romeo Crennel (Patriots defensive coordinator) as the Browns new head coach and Randy Mueller (ESPN.com analyst) as the Seahawks' new general manager were also subjects in heavy circulation.
