Defensive linemen have invaded the top of the 2008 NFL Draft board. In addition to DE Chris Long and DT Glenn Dorsey owning the top two spots on my board right now, three of the top five and five of the top 16 prospects are defensive ends or defensive tackles. Let's take a look at how the big fellas are getting it done so far as seniors:
1. Chris Long, DE, Virginia (No. 1 overall)
No defender in the country plays with a better motor than Long, who constantly fights through double-teams and works his way back into plays. Despite playing the inside position as a 3-4 defensive end, Long leads the Cavaliers with six sacks and is the team's second-leading tackler with 31 total tackles. He also has notched an interception.
