NFC North's '05 draft class an overall failure

Editor's note: Scouts Inc.'s philosophy is to wait three years before judging a draft class. As the 2008 draft approaches, we are looking back at the 2005 draft to determine how teams fared.

Thus far, it's fair to say none of the NFC North teams hit any home runs with their first-round picks. Cedric Benson can't seem to get the job done; Mike Williams is with his third team; Aaron Rodgers hasn't had a chance to play; Troy Williamson couldn't even help the receiver-deprived Vikings. Overall, this draft should have Lions fans calling for Matt Millen's head, Bears fans begging for Thomas Jones to come back, Vikings fans wishing they traded up and Packers fans praying Rodgers is the real deal. Let's take a team-by-team look at the NFC North's 2005 draft class.
