As usual, the offensive tackles are the cream of the offensive line crop, and we could see the top four tackles in our rankings come off the board in the top eight picks.
Rutgers' Anthony Davis is atop our tackle rankings because of his athleticism and quickness in pass protection. He is smooth and quick out of his stance and changes directions well when mirroring and sliding with defensive ends. Davis needs to be more consistent as a run-blocker, specifically in his ability to get under defenders and create movement, but he is effective when it comes to getting into position and sustaining blocks. There are some character and work-ethic concerns surrounding Davis, but his upside as a prototypical blindside pass protector will override those.
